<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>TD Canadian Children’s Book Week is the single most important event
celebrating Canadian children’s books and the importance of reading. Each year
during Book Week, approximately 30 authors, illustrators and storytellers travel
to all parts of our nation, giving presentations at schools and libraries for
more than 35,000 children. TD Canadian Children’s Book Week 2014 will be held
from Saturday, May 3rd to Saturday, May 10th, 2014. This coming year’s
Book Week theme is “Road to Remember” which commemorates the 100th anniversary
of World War I. The theme will honour those who were involved in World War I,
World War II and subsequent wars and will help children to recognize that there
are still conflicts in many parts of the globe. </DIV>
