Hello Everyone,

Just a note to let you know that y/a author Beryl Young will be in Winnipeg in March or April next year, and is setting up school visits. 

Beryl is the author of three books: 
Wishing Star Summer, about the visit of a Chernobyl child to Canada 
Charlie - A Home Child's Life in Canada, about her father's experiences as an impoverished child sent from England to work in Canada in 1911.
Follow the Elephant, about a boy dealing with the loss of his father

Beryl was here two years ago and is a very effective presenter for students in Grades 5-8. Her fee is $200 per hour/presentation, or $350 for 2 presentations. She has material teachers can use to support her books. You can find out more about her at http://www.berylyoung.com/
